« Firefighter Visit to Encinitas Blvd. Campus »

Firefighters from the Encinitas Fire Department came to campus last week and gave the Preschool and Kindergarten children at the Encinitas Blvd. campus a friendly, valuable lesson on how to behave in case of a fire. The firemen talked about calling 911, and most importantly, they showed the children what a fireman looks and sounds like when wearing all his gear. The children got to touch, talk to, and give high-fives to a firefighter wearing his gear. They also learned that in a fire, this man would carry them to safety. It was a great success!
