« 6th Grade - Field Trip to The Californian Sailing Ship »

6th Grade students had an adventure-filled overnight field trip on the Californian, a tall sailing ship at the Maritime Museum of San Diego. This annual trip enhances the students’ history lessons on the American Revolution. They learned about the American Revolution from the perspectives of both Loyalists and Patriots, as well as the economic trade aspects of that time period. One highlight of the trip was learning how the ship’s cannons were fired. .
