Once again, the ECDS PAC (Parent Action Committee) will team-up with the Encinitas Fire Dept. to cook-up a gourmet breakfast for all grade levels at ECDS on the morning before Winter Break begins. In addition to great food hot off the griddle, students will enjoy making numerous trips to the Hot Chocolate stand and the digital Photo Booth!
Mark your calendars for the annual Holiday Breakfast on Friday, December 19th. Students will be served according to a schedule that will be circulated soon to teachers at every grade level.
On September 26th, Encinitas Country Day School celebrated two decades serving students at its TK-8th grade campus. The commemoration was led by ECDS Principal Robyn Hayes, with ECDS Founder and Executive Director Kathleen Porterfield recounting some of the school’s memorable milestones and reading a selection of prayers written by students. ECDS Performing Arts teachers performed a series of songs that accentuated the themes of gratitude and flight that were featured in the program. The celebration concluded with selected students releasing twenty doves to commemorate the school’s first 20 years at their elementary and Middle School campus on Manchester Ave in Encinitas. ECDS is now in its 38th school year, currently serving students on two beautiful campuses.
Principal Robyn Hayes will introduce guests to the faculty and features of the ECDS Middle School from 3:30 to 4:45 PM on Thursday, November 13th. The event will take place on the ECDS TK-8th grade campus,located at 3616 Manchester Ave, Encinitas.
