Students’ many talents will be on display in the ECDS amphitheater from 1:30 to 2:45 on Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th. The annual event will showcase a wide variety of artistic abilities, including puppetry and piano playing, drumming and dancing, gymnastics and martial arts, and much more.

Polestar Performing Arts Academy brings the musical theater production of “Grease” to the Grand Ritz Theatre for four (4) performances: Thurs 3/20 at 6:30 pm, Fri 3/21 at 6:30 pm, and Sat 3/22 at 2:00 and 6:30 pm.

Polestar Performing Arts Academy, based at Encinitas Country Day School, is a 501(c)(3) public benefit non-profit with programs that are open to the public.

On Friday, March 28th, Tk through 8th grade students will be running their hearts out as their parents/grandparents tally laps and cheer them on during the 17th annual Gift of Life International Jog-a-Thon. Funds raised defray travel costs for Pediatric heart surgeons and surgical nurses who travel to 83 countries performing life-saving heart surgeries on children with congenital defects that are unable to be addressed within the local healthcare infrastructure of developing countries.

To date, ECDS students have provided funds that supported life-saving surgeries for 577 children.
