Our annual ECDS Jog-A-Thon (PDF) benefiting the “Gift of Life, International” organization will be held on Friday, March 13. Each year, this event provides an opportunity for ECDS students and their families to make a huge impact in the lives of children who need lifesaving heart operations. ECDS students should be collecting pledges from family, friends, and neighbors now, using their Pledge Sponsor Sheet to keep track of the pledges they receive. Pledge Sponsors can make a donation of a specific amount per lap completed by the student, or they can make a flat donation of any amount. “Gift of Life International” is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization under Tax ID #56-2322626, and all donations are tax-deductible. Pledge Sponsor Sheets must be turned in to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, March 11. Signup sheets for parent/grandparent volunteers have been posted for each classroom, and there is a Signup List on the Signupgenius website where you can sign up online as well.
