1st Grade students are displaying timelines of their students’ lives on their classroom bulletin boards. The timelines show photos and text from different important events for each student, starting from when they were babies and continuing through this year. Creating a timeline of their own life helps the students understand how they fit into the bigger picture of the Timeline of Life, which is an important Montessori concept that they will build on in older grades.
