Mrs. Carp’s 3rd Grade class is learning about money through a classroom project. Each student received an amount of classroom money to start the project. They can pay rent for their desk or choose to buy the deed to their desk so they don’t have to pay rent. They can earn bonus money through completing classroom projects or from good behavior with other teachers, and they can receive fines if they didn’t finish their work or other projects. After paying their money and receiving any bonuses or fines, some of the students were excited to bid on items during their first classroom auction last week.
