4th Grade students went on a Field Trip to Old Town San Diego. They saw the history of early San Diego come to life as they toured all of the historical buildings in Old Town with docents. The program covered the history of San Diego from the mid-1700’s through the Mexican period in the 1800’s and the Gold Rush, ending when San Diego was an early frontier town. Students also got to wear period costumes to experience what people would have worn at the time.
