6th Grade students went on a field trip to the Disneyland California Adventure Park on Wednesday. They participated in a Disney Youth Education program called “Energy and Waves Physics Lab”. Their educational tour guide helped them explore and see the basic principles of physics, such as Newton’s First Law of Motion, in action at California Adventure Park. They did hands-on experiments to learn about the fundamentals of acoustics and optics, and the different mediums that affect the transmission of light and sound waves. They also learned how these physics principles came into play when the Disney Imagineers created the rides at California Adventure. After their educational lab was over, the 6th graders were let loose to enjoy California Adventure and everyone had a great time.
