ECDS students won second place in the “Best Use of Theme” category with their “Alice and Wonderland” themed float and accompanying entourage.
In addition, many ECDS students were dancers carrying stemmed rose props and singing “Painting the Roses Red” as part of the Polestar Lifetime Learning parade entry that won first prize in the “Use of Theme” category. Polestar is a local non-profit organization based at ECDS that provides performing arts and leadership training opportunities to children and youth.
