The Kindergarten classes at the Manchester Avenue campus divided up into 4 teams to compete in the annual Country Olympics event last Thursday. The teams were the Orange Kitties, Green Turtles, Yellow Cheetahs, and Blue Dolphins. At the Opening Ceremony, students passed along an “Olympic torch” to start the games. They competed in fun events including races, throwing bean bags, soccer kicks, hula hoops, and more. Every student received a medal that acknowledged their accomplishments at one of the events, and each team proudly displayed their medals and banner at the Closing Ceremony.
