Courage, generosity, and empathy were on display as ECDS TK through 8th grade students ran laps to provide life-saving heart surgeries for children in need. Funds raised through student effort and the generosity of friends and family members in support of the 17th annual ECDS Jog-a-thon brought the cumulative total of children served to more than 600 since the school inaugurated the event in 2009. The program is a fundraiser for Gift of Life International, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that “Heals Little Hearts Around the World,” and currently operates in 80 countries.
